The sun heats the water in the sea, and turns it into water vapoy. The water vapour forms clouds that rise high in the air. When the clouds meet the cold air in the sky, they become rain. The rain falls into the sea to become sea water. The seawater is again heated by the sun to form water vapour, and the whole cycle is repeated. This is why the seas and oceans do not become dry.
