The answer is quite simple: because most of the blood vessels are thinner than a hair's breadth! the largest blood vessels in our body are arteries and the veins. These are like the great superhighways of the body. But there are also millions of tiny capillaries which are the tiny rods, path, and trails of the blood system, unmarked on most maps, and in the body, invisible except through a microscope.
